While the United States team played in a loss to Canada on Wednesday in the preliminary round, USA gained an automatic berth to the semifinal.

In the first showdown of Finland and USA in the preliminary tournament, the Americans ended up in a 3-1 victory. Forward Kendall Coyne delivered enough to dismantle Finland last week. However, it is still a question on how United States will take everything into consideration the adjustments on some of the problems they encountered against a defeat to Canada.

Monique Lamoureaux-Morando, Coyne and Dani Cameranesi provided the goals for the early win over the Finns last week. The Americans followed in through a 5-0 win over the OAR but the 2-1 loss to Canada will serve as an opportunity to check out the flaws that they need to fix.

USA vs Denmark Curling wOMen’s Winter Olympics 2018

USA vs Denmark Curling wOMen’s Winter Olympics 2018.After facing one of the best men’s curling teams in the world on Thursday night, Team USA will face Denmark on Sunday morning stateside.

USA vs Denmark Curling Live Stream HEre

The men’s team is looking to gain steam and put together their first serious medal run since the 2006 Olympics Games in Italy. In fact, that was the last time the men’s team placed in the top three, bringing home the bronze.

It’s been quite the drought for Team USA, but that could all change this year. The Americans have a quality team, but it’ll take a near-perfect run in order to dethrone the Canadians for gold.

That’s getting ahead of things, though. We are still in the round robin stage, looking at session 5 on Friday morning. If Team USA is able to take care of Denmark, they can start thinking about the potential medal matchups.

Until then, the team of Americans needs to keep winning and keeping pace with the leaders in the standings, namely Canada. Denmark would be a quality win for Team USA on Friday morning.

All of the Olympic curling matches in the second session take place simultaneously, and it will be up to NBC’s editors to decide how much of each match is shown. That said, cord-cutters have the advantage as every game has its own unique live stream.

“I went really well, only the last lap was really hard,” she said afterwards, per Reuters (h/t SBS). “In the end I was so close but it’s not good enough. I have to be satisfied with the silver, although it hurts a little bit.”

How to watch the Winter Olympics 2018 : Live stream every sport online from anywhere

The 2018 Winter Olympic Games are being held in South Korea for the first time in three decades and have officially begun. The opening ceremony kicked off at 8:00 p.m. local time in Pyeongchang, which equates to 6:00 a.m. EST. For the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, NBC and its cable networks will cover popular sports such as figure skating and skiing. Because of the 14-hour time difference, not every Olympic event will be broadcast live. For that, you need to watch an online stream.

The Winter Olympics runs from 9 to 25 February 2018 with certain events being held on 8 and 9 February 2018 prior to the opening ceremony. The games feature 102 events in fifteen sports disciplines, including the addition of big air snowboarding, mass start speed skating, mixed doubles curling, and mixed team alpine skiing to the Winter Olympic programme. 2,952 athletes from 92 National Olympic Committees are slated to compete, including the debut of Ecuador, Eritrea, Kosovo, Malaysia, Nigeria and Singapore.

The lead-up to these Games were threatened by the ongoing tensions between South Korea and North Korea. Eventually the two countries agreed to march together during the opening ceremony and to field a unified women’s hockey team. These moves were met with opposition by South Korean critics, who believed that the country was using the Games as a platform for pro-North Korean sentiment.

The PyeongChang 2018 live stream of all the competitions will be available on connected TVs, NBCOlympics.com, and the NBC Sports app across all platforms. The Games will be shown on five television networks — NBC, NBCSN, CNBC, USA, and the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA — another first for the Winter Games. Additionally, users can access three digital-only programs, a news desk that posts Olympics updates throughout the day, and a live stream of all practices.
The TV coverage began on Wednesday with mixed doubles curling. Users could watch the stream of this event on the same day starting at 7 p.m. ET.

Watching the Olympic Games: TV coverage

In addition to NBC’s over-the-air network, the sports network NBCSN will be the main overflow channel, carrying events such as biathlon, bobsled and luge. Coverage on CNBC and USA Network will be limited to curling and ice hockey. The Olympic Channel will have medal ceremonies, news and highlights, but not event coverage. All four of these cable channels will also be streamed online.

Much of the online coverage will come from the International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Broadcasting Services. That means the spotlight will be on all athletes, not just Americans. In addition to live events, you can get streams of some training and practice runs. NBC also plans digital-only shows, including a daily two-hour wrap-up starting at noon ET (2 a.m. the next morning in Pyeongchang).

Some cable companies plan special features. Comcast, which owns NBC, will include online coverage on its TV set-top boxes and TV coverage on its mobile apps to offer viewers one-stop access to the Olympics. Comcast and other cable providers will also offer the opening ceremony and other events in sharper 4K resolution, though with a day’s delay.
